"Scout, I'm tellin' you for the last time, shut your trap or go home i declare to the lord you're gettin' more like a girl everyday" when i heard jem say this i was furious it brings me to flashback to all the days of when women were marching for their rights i feel when he said this comment it all went down the drain i couldn't believe it i believe women have fought for something but i guess this will never change
but I guess dynamic will never change men will still think they are superior to women and I feel that even with laws that wont change ther minds about how we feel and who we are as a gender.
ReplyDeleteI agree! Jem's comment infuriated me too, I wrote about it once in my blogpost as well. Women have done so much and have helped in war and I feel women hace done so much for this world and in our history! this blog post is right on!
