When I read what Jem said to Scout in the book my blood boiled. I mean what is wrong with acting like what you are,she is a girl so let her act like a girl. All girls are different meaning that not all of us are whinny and don't get a little dirty from time to time .Also by saying this Jem is saying that girls are not as good as men,a women/girl can do anything that a man/boy can do. meaning Scout does not have to change herself to ''fit in with the guys''
I agree i love the way you put emotion into this i believed you and thats what blogs should be able to do and yes my blood did boil when i read what he said to scout i men either way dead or alive she was always a girl and just because she hangs with boys doesn't mean she has to be one

ReplyDeleteI deffinently agree with the points. I really like the emotion that you put into this through your writing and description like when you said that it make you blood boil. I think that you made a really good point by saying that what Jem said suggests that he thinks women are inferior to men.
